Prompted text has areas of the text that
provide instructions and a place to write. While programs like Bank
Street Writer have locked prompted text (text which cannot be altered
and which does not print) most word processors including ClarisWorks
do not have this feature.
To simulate prompted writing the instructions are entered in a set
format eg in red type and the work areas are preformatted to the
font, size, style and justification required. This is saved as a
Stationery file. When the student has completed the exercise the red
text is removed before printing.
The file should contain a sample of the Text Type as well as the
exercise.

Type your theme word with one letter on each line and think of as many words as you can that begin with the letters in your theme word and are related to it and type one word after each letter of the theme word. .............................................................................................................................
