Using Airport in a Managed Environment
Not ideal, but you can get it to work!
Apple do not recommend implementing a "managed" environment on anything less than a 100Mb network.

Technically, this rules out Airport wireless networks, which have a maximum 54Mb shared bandwidth (theoretically).

However, some schools are using Airport with minimal problems, with the following setup:

* Extreme base stations and network cards;

* Multiple base stations, with maximum of 10 clients per base station;

* Setting each base station as a separate network;

* Setting clients to Connect to a Specific Network, rather than auto-discover a network;

* Setting Airport as the only available option in the network configuration.
